The Department of Museums Malaysia annual event in conjunction with International Museum Day. This event will comprise of exhibition, seminar and community activities. The objective of International Museum Day (IMD) is to raise awareness of the fact that, “Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples.”
The exhibition will focus on the lost and the forgotten Malay Kingdoms. The main objective of the exhibition is to enhance the awareness about the Malay Civilization which is the foundation of Malaysian Civilization.
